Smoked Salmon Dip

Absolutely! Smoking salmon on your own will take about 3 to 4 hours in a smoker or grill. For a shortcut, follow our smoked salmon recipe that uses liquid smoke.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 3 green onions, chopped (white parts only)
  • 2 tablespoons capers, drained
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 ounces smoked salmon or lox
  • 1 tablespoon dill weed
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • assorted crackers

Directions

  1. Place the first 10 ingredients in a food processor; cover and process until smooth. Refrigerate, covered, until serving. Serve with crackers.
