About

Discover the fascinating influence of Asian cooking in a New Orleans staple.

In this fun and informative cooking class, you’ll explore the diverse culinary influences and their legacy in Louisiana cuisine. Start with a creative fusion of crawfish in hand-stuffed and fried spring rolls with Thai chili sauce. Next, Chef Ashley shares the history of yaka mein, known as “Ol’ Sober,” a peppery beef noodle soup created by a local icon that blends Chinese and Creole cuisines. Finish the meal with a nod to the French in a matcha crème brûlée.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
